MOLLY ZEMKE

My name is Molly Zemke and I absolutely love making people feel like they look their best. Originally from the Northern Virginia-D.C. area, I attended Virginia Wesleyan College and have called Virginia Beach home since 1998. I am the mother of two adult daughters and two very large dogs.

In 2001, I attended Chrysm School of Esthetics where I received my Estheticians license. Followed by the Virginia Permanent Makeup Institute. I later added permanent eyeliner to my dossier and was personally trained by Will Anthony in his unique Smoky Eyelash enhancement.

I started my career in the beauty industry working as a make-up artist for a photographer. Makeup artistry then organically transitioned into wanting to help clients with their skin problems. Clients struggling with acne touched my heart the most because, I had my own battle with cystic acne in my twenties. As a result, I understand the feelings of self-conciseness and embarrassment when it comes to a broken-out face. 20+ years ago I applied everything I learned to heal my face and applied that knowledge to help my clients.

Along the years as my clientele grew and I noticed that many of my clients began to lose eyebrow hair; from entering menopause or over-tweezing. I knew then, there was a real need for me to add eyebrow services to my list of services and treatments. In 2017 I began to look into Microblading and when I saw the results to be had, it was love at first sight. Microblading was a way for me to put back what time had taken away from my clients. Since then, I have done over a thousand eyebrow services for women.

I have experience with many different skin types, tones, and colors. I have worked clients with full brows and scarce brows. As well as clients recovering from chemo and full alopecia with no eyebrow hair of their own.

What sets me apart and makes me different from other artists around Hampton Roads is my style of application. I take the time to incorporate a combination of up to 30 different microblading strokes to get my clients their desired results. When I ask clients why they ended up choosing me as their artist, they always say, “Your pictures and healed results look the most natural, and that’s what I want.” Even when I do powder brows (shaded in eyebrows), I apply it in a way that is light and borderless so it looks more natural.

My clients rely on me for absolute honesty. Everyone’s face is different and each of them requires different strokes or shading. They count on me to tell them if the shape they have been drawing is not flattering and how I can help them revive their brows. I come with multiple ideas on how to lift, separate and accentuate their brows without making them look like they are put on with a Sharpie marker.

Natural looking beauty is my passion! My goal is to provide you with results that make your friends say “You look amazing! What did you do different?” or “Did you get a face-lift? Your skin is glowing!” Whether it be for their skin or eyebrow services, I love the challenge of working with and finding the right solution for each client. There isn’t a single day that goes by without me saying, “I love my job!”
